Greg Jones

Trainer

Greg became a Christian when a couple of guys from The Navigators shared the Gospel with him as a freshman at Ohio State University. He continued to be involved in the Navigators throughout his time at college, leading Bible studies, doing evangelism, and making disciples. He graduated in 1974 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then went into the Air Force and flew C-141 transports. In 1984, he was hired as a pilot with America West Airlines, which eventually became American Airlines. Greg retired in August, 2017, after 33 years as an airline pilot. He then joined the Foundations Global team.

Throughout his career Greg has been involved in leading small group Bible studies, teaching church classes, and witnessing to other pilots. In 2001, he helped to start and operate a Navigator ministry at Arizona State University and continued in this until 2014. Greg is married to Sue; they have two children and four grandchildren.
