Developing Workers said YES to partner with Global Surge as they come alongside communities they are “Committed to Truth in all areas ‘spiritual, economic, social, physical’ a hope resulting in global change.” We believe that our mission and vision will complement each other on the field and create a lasting ripple.
At Developing Workers-Mobilize we strive to sustain a holistic approach to ministry. This team will dive into 5-7 days of the mobile clinics. Offering nutritional assessments, child safety evaluations(CSI), medical exams, deworming, vitamins, dental hygiene training, medication, and spiritual counseling. Our ultimate goal is to bridge the community with the local church. To bring Christ to the communities we serve and to encourage the local church and staff to carry out the Great Commission. We will be including local pastors and church leaders to serve alongside us. Our CSI training will continue in these cities as we strive to bring hope and help to young people caught in the throes of domestic violence or trafficking, helping them see the value of who they are in Christ and to help them see themselves as valued and treasured. Connecting each young person with a Child Champion who can be a safe person for them at any time.
The Philippines is a new country for us and we could not be more excited to expand our reach. So glad you will join us!
We will be serving in Manilla in communities impacted by Global Surge Youth Camps, where there are new church plants and many new believers. We truly believe our CSI program implementation will be a huge asset in these communities.
