Since 2007, Developing Workers has maintained a close relationship and partnership with the communities of Malindi and Kajiado, Kenya. In November 2020, we are returning again – this time to combine our services of pastoral training and medical clinics. We will be providing much needed medical care in impoverished areas while providing a platform to assist the church in reaching their communities with the gospel.
Please note:This trip is unique in that it is first open exclusively to active attendees of New Valley Church in Chandler, Arizona. If the trip does not fill by July 15, the option for additional trip members will open on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to apply today and tell us how you learned about this trip! We’ll keep you posted if room remains.
All types of volunteers will be needed for this trip – medical and non-medical. To serve 6 days as a part of our Mobilize medical team, we are looking for a variety of doctors, PA’s, NP’s, registered nurses, EMT’s, paramedics, students, and volunteers. Each team of volunteers serves to provide medical exams, nutritional assessments, de-worming, vitamins, dental hygiene instruction, medicine, and child safety (CSI) evaluations. Every patient is led through spiritual counseling and has the opportunity to be connected with the local church for follow up and discipleship.
Our team will engage in the annual pastors conference, using Foundations Training principles to help the Kenyan pastors battle discipleship poverty in their congregations and communities.
November 10 – November 22
Cost Approximately $3900.00 and includes airfare
