The Community Safety Initiative (CSI) is designed to screen and identify children and adults who are at-risk for social/emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. Our Mobilize Medical team comes to a community and asks a few simple questions of each individual, via a translator.
Our team is driven to come alongside community leaders around the world, equipping them with strategies to identify and minister to those whose safety is most at-risk and, from there, carry out the Great Commission.
Before we screen and identify individuals who need help, a community leader/pastor identifies “CSI Heroes” who will follow up with the at-risk or in need individuals. The CSI Heroes will mentor these individuals, and be support so they feel safe in their homes and communities.
Individuals will also have the opportunity to walk through a discipleship workbook on healing with their Hero. The CSI Heroes’ intention is to empower the individuals to reach their God-given potential.
Currently we have the CSI discipleship workbooks available in 4 languages – English, Spanish, Swahili, and Masai. If you would like more information on the Community Safety Initiative, please contact us!
