The Developing Workers Kenya team departs January 15, 2019 and returns January 26, 2019.
The supplies and in-country airfare for the team traveling to Turkana came in higher than we initially planned for.
In short, moving these supplies to a very remote location northwest of Kenya as well as our team will cost an additional $7,000 more than originally estimated.
Because of our end-of-year campaign, we have MORE THAN ENOUGH money in our general fund to cover these last minute expenses and keep our focus on the mission at hand.
However, you are still invited to contribute to the Developing Workers General Fund to cover these last minute expenses and help us maintain healthy reserves as we go into 2019.
